in version 8.4.0 do not forget to add &login_locale=default
Thanks for the very useful post. This has been annoying me for a while and I finally decided to google for a fix.
BTW, I find it also seems to need (at least mine did):
&previous_page=index
Using your original url, plus ilyuha's addition, plus the above works for me in both 8.x and 9.x.
Now if only I could fix the %$#!* certificate...
Does this apply to plesk 9.2 and how secure is this ?
eq,
I'm not sure if it works in Plesk 9 or not. However, with Plesk 8, the URL *will* show up in Plesk's access logs. With that said, the only user that can access the logs would be the root user. Any root user would be able to gather the Plesk password anyway.
On the client end, just make sure that you keep the link secure. Restrict access to your workstation and your browser bookmarks.
This still works in Plesk 9 with the additions suggested.
It works fine with plesk 9.2.x I'm using it with 9.2.3
thanx for the tip!
